Congratulations to three seniors

Three of our senior women signed commitment letters to row and cox next year in college on Wednesday, November 10 at the Jack Gartner Boathouse.

Claire Carver-Ritter signed to row next year at Louisville University where she will join AYRA alum Kenzie Dinga who is also a recruited rower there.

Adie Altman-Jacobs signed to be a coxswain next year at Rutgers University.

Morgan Foxworth signed to row next year at Oregon State.

This is the first year we have had AYRA team members recruited to Rutgers and Oregon.

We have four other seniors who are currently being recruited.

The last learn to row class of 2021

Our last learn to row class of 2021 will begin Saturday, December 4 at 9 am at the Jack Gartner Boathouse in Lake Julian Park.  Take the main entrance into the park off of Long Shoals Road and go all the way around the one way street until you see our boathouse.

The dates and times are as follows:

Saturday, December 4 from 9-11

Monday, December 6 from 4-6

Tuesday, December 7 from 4-6

Wednesday, December 8 from 4-6

The cost for all four sessions of two hours each is $52.00.  Please pay when you register under the Learn to Row page.

Wear tight fitting pants, a snug shirt, socks, sneakers and bring a water bottle.

Parents plan to stay on the first day for a parents’ meeting.
