On Saturday and Sunday, May 10 & 11, Asheville Youth Rowing Association (AYRA) attended the 2025 USRowing Southeast Regional Championships in Gainesville, Ga. AYRA entered nine events and boats in six of those events reached the grand Finals. The Men’s 1 Varsity 4 won Silver, the Women’s U16 8 won Bronze, the Men’s U17 4 won Bronze and the Women’s 1 Varsity 4 placed fourth. All four boats thus qualified for USRowing Youth National Championships which will take place June 12 through the 15th in Sarasota, Florida.
Family and friends may send a donation to support a specific rower or coxswain with the expenses of attending Nationals. Please specify the name of the rower or coxswain for whom you are donating. You may also send a general donation to support the program as a whole.
